Ubisoft tried to make the open world of Far Cry 6 realistic and as interesting as possible

Spacious locations Far cry 6 promise to be a real evolution and the culmination of the general structure of the virtual worlds of the series, which the developers have developed over the years. Specialists from Ubisoft tried to endow the island of Yara, engulfed in the fires of the revolution, with genuine life, about which in a conversation with the resource GameReactor told the senior open world designer of the new shooter Ben Hall

“In Far Cry 6, we really paid attention to the aspect of the open world, namely the simulation of the feeling that it lives on its own and apart from your actions. You, in turn, take on the role of Dani Rojas, you exist within this universe, you one of the Yarians, but the events are not built exclusively around your character. It was very important for us to convey the feeling that the island is inhabited by other people, that many interesting things and events are happening here at once, “explained Ben Hall.

As an example of the realism of the world of Far Cry 6, the developer mentioned the moments in which the user will be able to dynamically react to different situations. For example, while traveling around one of the regions of the island, you may stumble upon local soldiers putting pressure on ordinary residents. In this case, to prevent what is happening or not is up to you to decide. At the same time, depending on the decision made, alternative consequences and outcomes may await you.

Residents of Yara also react differently to the hero or heroine. For example, if you walk and brandish a weapon, they may become wary and refuse to give you interesting information.

Worldwide premiere Far cry 6 will take place October 7th on consoles Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox one, Xbox series x and Xbox series s, as well as PC… Read more about the game here and here
