Ubisoft hints that PS5 will be able to run PS4, PS3, PS2 and PS1 games – review

A year ago, the network drew attention to the patent Sony, which reported on the potential compatibility of the PlayStation 5 with games not only for PS4, but also PS3, PS2 and PS1.
Since then, the manufacturer has confirmed backward compatibility with the PS4, but has not commented on the possibility of a potential launch of games from previous generations of PlayStation consoles. However the leader Ubisoft Yves Guillot at the quarterly report hinted at full compatibility.

New consoles will be able to run almost all games from previous consoles.

This will be something completely new to the industry. This will help older games stay relevant on consoles for many years to come.
