Twitch and National Music Publishers Association (NMPA) came to an agreement on licensed music, the reproduction of which on the streams often caused strikes.
The fundamental rules for using the service will not change – the playback of tracks on which streamers do not have rights is still prohibited. At the same time, the Twitch administration will use more flexible tools to warn about a possible violation.
After all, unintentional use of copyrighted music also occurs. However, in many games there is already a so-called “streamer mode” that replaces licensed tracks or completely leaves the scene without musical accompaniment.
