The service tried to justify itself by the desire to show how important unity and cooperation are, and something can be achieved only by working together. According to Twitch, it was simply not possible to express this clearly enough in the video.

Previously, Twitch just as could not support the LGBT movement. The service has released a video with the slogan “G in LGBTQIA + also stands for gamer” – “G in LGBT also means Gamer“. Both gamers and LGBT people were dissatisfied with such an amendment.
