Company Valve announced the start of closed beta testing of the collectible card game Artifact 2.0. After the indifferent reception of the original project, the development team decided to redesign their brainchild, simplify the gameplay, get rid of the old monetization model and change many mechanics.
The gameplay video published below was recorded on May 1, but only now has appeared on the official Valve YouTube channel. In it, the developers showed the main gameplay changes in the CCI, playing a game with a simplified draft format. They alternately selected heroes and determined the order of their exit to the table. The rest of the deck was collected automatically by the game depending on the characters and their colors.
Valve previously announced the launch of the Artifact 2.0 Closed Beta Invitations. Owners of the basic version of the game will receive letters of invitation until May 25.
