True Colors told and showed the emotions of the characters – Igromania

Let Alex, the main character Life is Strange: True Colorsand cannot travel back in time like Max, she sees other people’s feelings. And it is to this ability that the developers have dedicated a fresh entry on the PlayStation blog.

As you know, for Alex, the feelings of others look like auras around the characters. At the same time, the heroes can be overwhelmed with emotions, and then the aura will explode, filling everything around with a flash of color and light. And Alex herself will begin to see the world differently, get to know the person better … or get into trouble.

Of course, there are many emotions themselves, but in general they can be divided into four categories: sadness, fear, anger, or joy. And now about each in more detail.

Sadness

Sadness looks like a blue aura. In a flash of sadness, the world becomes gray-blue and faded, as if a rain cloud had obscured the sun. Everything seems heavy, gloomy and deaf.

Fear

Fear looks like a purple aura. After a flash of fear, players see sharp jagged lines and dark shadows. Something creepy is waiting around every corner. Peering into the darkness for a long time, Alex can even notice the monsters watching her from there.

Anger

The aura of anger is bright red. Inside a flash of anger, the light becomes brighter, the sounds become louder, the movements look sharp and jerky. The whole world clenches like a fist and pulsates with adrenaline.

Joy

Well, joy looks like a golden aura. Inside a flash of joy, the world seems animated, saturated with love and laughter, and the sounds become voluminous and saturated.

Recall that the game will be released on September 10 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
