Trilogy Completed – IO Interactive Announces Hitman III for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X

Studio IO Interactive announced during the presentation Sony the third part of the stealth action Hitman. The project will conclude the World of Assassination trilogy., where gamers will again try on the image of Agent 47 and go on a journey through six different locations with hundreds of opportunities to show the killer’s ingenuity.

“With the support of Agency curator Diana Burnwood, Agent 47 joins forces with his old friend Lucas Gray. Their last mission is to destroy Providence’s partners, but this is not an easy task. When the dust settles, 47 and the world in which he lives will never will be the same. “

A feature of past games was well-developed sandbox levels with lots of scenarios and high replayability, and Hitman III in this sense continues the tradition. Moreover, the project will encourage players to explore and interact with the world in new ways that will be rewarded with further progress. The authors want the players to really feel how their actions affect what is happening around and what will happen next.

Since Hitman III is positioned as the ending of the story, the authors will also add the ability to transfer locations and saves from the last two parts, so that all the content of the trilogy will be collected in one place.

“We are very proud that we were able to collect all parts of the trilogy under one cover of Hitman III so that players can play any part of this trilogy from one place.”

The project starts in January 2023 on PC, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The publisher will be IO Interactive itself.
