In North America on Xbox one IMO beta testing started Phantasy Star Online 2. Released in Japan eight years ago, the game aroused increased interest from American gamers, with the result that the server Sega did not cope with the load.

Microsoft became SEGA’s Phantasy Star Online English language partner, which was announced at E3 2019, so at the moment the game is only announced for Xbox One and PC. Whether it will be released in the future on other devices is not known.
