Publisher PQube presented Tormented souls, a survival horror movie that studios are working on Dual Effect and Abstract Digital Works… The game will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (in Steam) in 2023.
The creators of Tormented Souls were inspired by classic horror survival games like Resident evil, Silent Hill and Alone in the Dark… The game should be a modern version of the fixed camera adventure, but with improved controls.
The game’s heroine, Caroline Walker, investigates the disappearance of two twin sisters in the spooky Winterlake estate. And suddenly she wakes up in some strange hospital. Now she will have to fight for her own life.
In Winterlake, almost everything is not what it seems. And to survive, there is not enough skill to aim and a quick reaction. To save your own life, you will have to use any resources you find, solve puzzles and try to find clues to what is happening here.
