Small independent Estonian studio GRüN released in Steam adventure detective Green Elephant: Epilogue. The name does not accidentally look familiar: this is a kind of afterword to the events of the arthouse thrash thriller “Green elephant“.
The underground film directed by Svetlana Baskova was released in 1999. At that time, neither the critics nor the public took it. And only with time did the “Green Elephant” become a cult in certain circles and dispersed into memes and demotivators. There is even an opinion that he was inspired by the director of the drama “Lighthouse“.
In the game Green Elephant: Epilogue, we will be in the military unit after the end of the film. Players will be able to visit the interiors familiar from the film, as well as in previously unseen areas. The hero of the game, the major of the secret organization of the Party, needs to find out what happened here.
So far, the game has predictably received mostly negative reviews. Perhaps the story repeats itself, and the creators just have to wait.
