Publisher EA and studio Respawn Entertainment published a new short cartoon Northstardedicated to the royal battle Apex legends… And it is directly related to the shooter Titanfall 2.
The video is dedicated to the dialogue between two characters: the leader of the group Apex Predators Cuben Blisk and a girl named Valkyrie… The first is one of the main villains Titanfall 2, and the second is the daughter of a subordinate Blisk named Viper (Viper), who died in battle with the pilot Jack Cooper and BT-7274…
According to the leaks, in the ninth season of Apex Legends (starting in May) should debut as a playable hero Cuben Blisk, who can run on walls and temporarily summon a titan controlled by AI. The Valkyrie is also featured on the roster. In the short film, you can see her ultimate – she will be able to catapult with allies in order to choose a new landing point, and also hang in the air for a short time.
Respawn Enertainment also launched a small quest inside the game teasing the emergence of a new mode “Arena“(3v3). Major changes await the map of Olympus.
Update. In the ninth season of Apex Legends, the Valkyrie will become a playable character. She will receive three abilities:
- the ability to hover in the air using a jetpack;
- launching a cluster rocket, which is then split into several shells;
- ejection from the surface with allies.

Update 2. The developers reported that the Olympus map will be “infected”, so the location will sink into vegetation. There will also be a new weapon – the Bocek bow.
