Publishing house 505 games and studio Artplay marked an important milestone today by outlining the roadmap for updates planned for release by the end of 2023 as part of post-release support for the game. The first to be released are two new modes: Boss revenge mode and Chroma wheel. They will appear already June 23rdbut Switch owners will have to wait until July. Below is their brief overview and everything that is being prepared for the game besides this.
- Boss revenge mode
- Take control of one of four in-game bosses and fight the Bloodstained heroes.
- Chroma wheel
- More personalization options will appear at the hairdresser. To change hairstyles, clothes and skin color, now, not predefined options are used, but a color wheel.
Third quarter of 2023:
- VS Mode
- Intensive competitive survival mode for local and online games where gamers battle each other.
- Chaos mode
- Boss battles alone or together locally or online with random drops and special sub-goals that will give additional inventory items after they are completed.
- Classic mode
- A regime in the style of the 80s will allow Miriam to fight a series of sub-bosses, divided into five painful stages and three difficulty levels.
Fourth quarter of 2023:
- The third playable character is in addition to Miriam and Zangets. The person is not revealed, but this is not Dominic.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night development leader Koji Igarashi also thanked game fans for their support in a personal video message.
