The survey was attended by 5 thousand people. 49% of respondents expressed confidence that their iPhone supports 5G, although none of the released models have this capability. 29% of respondents said they did not know the answer to the question. 38% users are not aware of whether their operator offers 5G connectivity services. It is noteworthy that almost a quarter – 24% – People who bought their iPhone just this year are not sure if the device supports 5G.
The researchers also asked participants other questions: What attracts them to 5G? So, 54% of the respondents are hoping for an increase in data transfer speed with the transition to 5G. About sixteen % worried about improving the quality of high-definition video calls. thirteen % of respondents expect an increase in the quality of streaming video content. And only 8 % consider the use of 5G in games a priority.
