Company Microsoft introduced new information about the future version Windows 10X. These are purely graphic elements that include application icons, as well as the logo of the system itself in style Fluent design.
John Friedman, corporate vice president of design and research at Microsoft, noted that the developers had to show the changes, but at the same time make the icons recognizable and familiar. Therefore, most icons are modified versions of existing solutions.
The developers also showed a new logo for the system, which is slightly different from the current version, although it is also made in monochrome. Obviously, it will be on the new Start button when Windows 10X comes out.
The company plans to develop Fluent Design for at least 2023, and the first “swallows” of this are already visible. New browser Microsoft edge got an updated icon, like the Office suite. Obviously, the company will continue this work in the future.
