One of the authors “Walking Dead” Greg Nicotero confirmed that films about Rick Grimes are still “alive”.
According to Nicotero, over the past couple of months, he has already seen several options for the plot and script, thus arguing that the authors are trying to create the best version of the story. But with the date of the premiere, the situation is still unclear, since other projects are steadily coming out in the universe.
The solo film about Rick was announced back in November 2018, and the script was worked on by the head of the content of the universe Scott Gimple and the author of “Walkers” Robert Kirkman… The tape was supposed to be the beginning of a whole trilogy.
The debut teaser was shown at Comic-Con in 2019, but the fate of Rick’s story has remained somewhat hazy since then.
