In addition to the content set, developers are preparing a game set and a major addition. It has not yet been announced what the add-on will be dedicated to, but the studio promises that the chosen topic will be a surprise for many players.
The theme of the next game set is also unknown. However, it is part of the team that has not previously made large sets, and the creators are enthusiastic. Something new awaits players in the summer, and most likely this is a major free update with new game mechanics.
The creators of The Sims 4 are also going to respond to the signs of the times – self-isolation and quarantine. They want to give players more ways to communicate with each other and with developers. It is still unknown what is meant, because this is clearly not a multi-user mode.
