Studio Midwinter announced a special in-game event that will be held today in a strategic team shooter Scavengers… As part of the battle royale, the developers built a special ScavLab platform specifically for various tests, and the next test will be for capacity.
At 21:00 Moscow time, everyone is invited to join the game: the developers will try to gather 5,000 players in one common space. This is not the first such attempt. In April, the developers managed to bring over 1,800 players to the test, and everything went pretty smoothly.
The event will last about 30-40 minutes. To keep players from getting bored, mini-tournaments will be held for them, a large-scale brawl will be arranged, and at the same time they will be able to chat with the head and founder of Midwinter, Josh Holmes.
Scavengers is available for free at Steam and Epic Games Store… The game is in Early Access and has received mixed reviews so far. But it has already been played by over a million players.
