“Throughout its history, the Metal Slug series has become famous for its excellent action and gameplay in general, and we are proud to present the new game to mobile gamers around the world,” SNK producer Yasuyuki Oda said in a press release. “We are delighted to work closely with a strong developer such as TiMi Studios on the latest game in the Metal Slug series.”
In turn, TiMi CEO Vinko Qin said that the Metal Slug series is ideal for playing on mobile platforms. He also emphasized that the development team is focused on faithfully recreating the classic franchise style.
The release date of the game has not yet been announced. A new Metal Slug for consoles is also in development now. She is not yet represented.
