Last fall studio Voidpoint announced that it is preparing an add-on for a retro first-person shooter Ion fury… And now she announced what awaits the players: the expansion has received the name Aftershock, and it will continue the story of the girl soldier Shelley Harrison, nicknamed “The Bomb”.
While Shelley is celebrating her victory at a local bar, it is revealed that her mission has not yet been completed. And she rushes in pursuit of her enemy on a powerful high-speed hover bike, equipped with Drunken Homing Plasma Missiles.
Players will open previously unseen areas for exploration, where they will meet new dangerous opponents. Additional types of weapons have been prepared to combat them, and some of the battles will also take place at full speed.
Ion Fury: Aftershock will be released this summer on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
