Single developer Joe Richardson continues his series of games to the point of absurdity. After a warmly received adventure Four last thingsreleased in 2017, the author created a sequel, The procession to calvary.
The new game follows the same rules: the world and its heroes are taken straight from the paintings of the Renaissance, the same soundtrack dates from the same years. But what happens in the game is more suitable for the theater of the absurd in the spirit of Monty Python.
The war is over, thousands of innocent people have died, and their cities are in ruins. But the main thing is that the bloodthirsty tyrant managed to escape, and now our task is to catch up with him and call to account. Well, or not to call, that’s how it goes.
Players have to feed donkeys, rob pirates, conspire with cardinals and help a half-educated magician, as well as participate in a talent contest, look for treasures, fight and chat directly with the Lord God himself.
