This is the fourth lawsuit over the company’s debt; in total, they want to collect 23 billion rubles from the network representatives. According to the bank, the second party did not fulfill the terms of the loan agreement, as a result of which “Trust” went to court. At the same time, the participants in the process created a restructuring plan on acceptable terms, but Mamut refused to sign this agreement.
According to Vedomosti’s sources, the latter is also trying to shift the responsibility onto the bank. At the same time, the other side of the Cinema Park network believes that the bank has some non-public goals, for example, the seizure of assets. Cinema chain loans were issued in 2017 for 10 years, but later the payment terms were reduced – the money must be returned by 2023.
