For The outer worlds released a major update for 26 gigabytes, after which the owners of the Xbox Series discovered an increase in frame rate – now the RPG runs at 60 FPS.
Soon after, PlayStation 5 owners also noticed improved performance.
Apparently, for the release of the second and final plot addition, Murder on eridanos, the developers, through backward compatibility, decided to make a pleasant surprise for the owner of the new generation consoles.
On the PS4 Pro, the game ran at a dynamic resolution of 1440p, while on the Xbox One X it was dynamic 4K – in difficult scenes, it dropped to 1512p.
Most likely, on PS5, the project runs at 1440p at 60 FPS, and on Series X – in 4K at 60 FPS.
The expansion will be released the day after tomorrow, on the 17th.
