the new part of “300” turned into the story of Alexander the Great – Igromania

Zach Snyder said that during the coronavirus pandemic he tried to write a script for a new part “300”, but in the end created a completely different plot.

According to the director, he made a deal with Warner Bros. about making another movie based on the comic Frank Millerhowever, the story has gone too far from the original concept.

When Snyder finished the work, the plot was already telling not about the saga with Sparta, but about Alexander the Great, or rather, his relationship with the commander Gefistion… According to the author, he got a “love story” called “Blood and Ash”where there would be a place for battles.

However, Warner Bros. did not appreciate such a move, abandoning the idea – Snyder added that at this stage representatives of the studio cannot be called “his big fans” at all.

The original film by the director was released in theaters in 2006, followed by a new film in 2014 with a subtitle Rise of an Empire, the plot of which touched upon the events before and after the first tape.
