As Kasavin explained, every new Supergiant Games project naturally builds on the foundations of previous games. but this does not mean at all that the audience will eventually receive a conditional Hades 2 – developers love to create in a variety of ways…
“In the case of new projects, our experience with previous games plays a very important role. Hades was heavily inspired by Pyre, our third development. And if you are familiar with Pyre, you know perfectly well that it is completely different from Hades. So I can say, that our team’s next creation will be heavily influenced by Hades, but that doesn’t mean the game will take on a similar shape, “explained Greg Kasavin.
Building on the thought, Supergiant Games’ creative director added that the studio is still full of a huge store of creative inspiration – the developers want to release more games with their signature style, delighting both fans and a wider audience.
“We definitely want to continue to keep our team and release new games together for a long, long time, delighting the audience, which allows us to create further,” added Greg Kasavin.
