H2O Is new Layers of Fear… The authors promise a personal story with a written hero, the disclosure of “plot layers” through the subsequent disclosure of the masterpiece, the theme of art and madness, an atmosphere of mystery and a closed space.
Depending on the “disclosures” that the player can see during the passage, the outcome of the story depends.
Black Is a first-person exploration game with survival elements and combat in a setting that mixes the Middle Ages and the alien. The player will have to interact with characters, take part in plot scenes and make moral choices.
The moral choice will affect the ending (there will be at least two of them): to punish the villains or stand up with them against a greater evil, whether to save the child at the cost of his own life, and so on. Promises a mature story about the dark aspects of faith and humanity, with an alien lifeform as a catalyst for character development.
Fights, according to the authors, are hand-to-hand, rare and sometimes unnecessary, although they are challenging and stressful. The main character is constantly in the minority. When combat is impossible, the player must survive. To do this, he can improvise, outsmart or distract opponents, including aliens, as well as hide.
The developers note that the historical setting creates space for potential spin-offs in other historical periods.
Finally, Dum spiro – This is a horror, the name of which is taken from the Latin phrase “dum spiro, spero” (“while I breathe, I hope”), which expresses the main theme of the game. The events unfold during the Second World War in the Lodz ghetto, Poland.
The player will take on the role of a boy prisoner to hide and save his little sister. According to the authors, the game will receive a first-person view, but the goal is to destroy the so-called “fifth wall” in order to separate the player from the story.
At the same time, the developers intend to increase the immersion effect, creating in the player a sense of responsibility for the actions of the characters, giving him the freedom to make all decisions in the game and at the same time assess their impact. The game is divided into 3 acts, at the end of which the player will decide which of the episodes to play next.
In subsequent acts, the player will face dilemmas based on the previous choice. Also, the developers promise smaller and more frequent decisions that will not affect the main events, but should affect the emotional, mental and physical state of people close to the protagonist.
