Previously, the developers removed the first version of it from the game due to too much power. Today he is back with a new sci-fi design and enhanced performance to face off a team of seven Hounds on modified T-55 tanks alone.
In the new event, for the first time in the history of the game, a unique mechanic was applied: 6-minute asymmetric battles. Players on the upgraded “Electric” T-55 Discharge tanks will have to rally to defeat the indestructible Waffenträger with a huge margin of safety. To do this, they need to destroy the tanks of the “Sentinels”, controlled by artificial intelligence (AI), and during the battle pump their cars in order to inflict additional damage on the “Waffentrager”.
The Waffenträger is a very tough enemy that has a very powerful weapon with a loading magazine and immunity to arson. It cannot damage modules or knock down tracks. In addition, the Waffenträger Auf E 110 is protected by an energy shield that absorbs damage, and has a powerful additional electromagnetic weapon in its arsenal.
Players will have a unique chance to play the role of the Waffenträger tank commander themselves. To do this, you need a special key, which can be obtained in the battles of the event, as a reward for completing the progression, or purchased in bundles in the Premium Shop.
In addition, in the midst of the event, players will have the chance to battle a special, gold Waffenträger Auf E 220 led by World of Tanks developers and star guests. According to its characteristics, the tank fully corresponds to the “E 110” version, but the most experienced commanders will operate it, which will definitely add excitement to the participants in the battle. Teams that can destroy the Infernal Machine will receive premium sets of rewards.
The action of the “Last Waffenträger” will unfold on three modified maps: “Fisherman’s Bay”, “Studzianki” and “Redshire”. Special versions of maps will have a special atmosphere of dark sci-fi movies.
During the in-game event, individual combat missions will bring players sets of rewards, including customization elements (2D styles, unique decals and emblems) and other in-game gifts.
