Sweet, beautiful Friday, we meet again. This week flew past and it’s time for the weekend. Looking for something new to try? There are a few upcoming MMO testing events you can take part in. By a few, I mean the MMO Alpha and Beta list has 130 games that you can find in some stage of alpha, beta, or early access.
What’s new this week? Well, I’m glad you asked…
Flame vs Blaze
This weekend is the second, and final preview weekend for Guild Wars 2’s expansion Path of Fire. While it is open to the public, this weekend will be of more interest to longtime players than the preview last weekend because it’s focusing on the class elite specializations. If you’re interested in trying it out still, it begins today and will run until work starts on Monday. If you want to read more on last weekend’s preview check out our article on the event.
FPS Deck-building strategy game Keystone announced that the official name of the game is The Amazing Eternals and they’re preparing for closed beta which begins August 29th.
And if you have the itch for an iOS only MOBA check out Flame vs Blaze which is now in closed beta.
Arcfall is making the move to alpha on August 25th.
Quake Champions is leaving closed beta and into early access on August 22nd.
INSIDIA had previously said they would begin beta testing this summer have now pinpointed September 7th as the start of open beta.
Destiny 2 will be playable on PC starting August 29th, unless you pre-order, in which case you will be able to play starting August 28th.
And finally, Kritika has announced they will be launching in September.
