The Last of Us: Part II continues to break records – this time in Brazil

Adventure action The Last of Us: Part II set in Brazil a record for pre-orders among all exclusives Playstation. New game Naughty dog outperformed God of war (2018), which until then remained the leader in the number of pre-orders in the region. This was reported by the Brazilian PlayStation division, clarifying that we are talking exclusively about discs without taking into account digital copies in PS Store.

Exact figures are not disclosed, but as the portal notes IGN Brasil, the special edition of The Last of Us 2 is already completely sold out. At the same time, the standard version of the game can still be pre-ordered from some retailers and even get twenty% a discount.

Last week the chief executive officer Sony Interactive Entertainment Jim Ryan noted that despite the leak of information, the demand for the sequel to The Last of Us remains high. The game is ahead of the pace of growth of pre-orders in Europe Marvel’s spider-man, which is The fastest-selling exclusive in PlayStation history with a total print run of over 13 million copies.

The Last of Us: Part II release will take place on June 19 only at Playstation 4.
