The Irishman Returns: Battlefield 2042 Short Reveals It’s A Sequel To Battlefield 4

Company Electronic Arts and studio DICE released a 9-minute short film “Exodus“dedicated to Battlefield 2042

The published short gives players a deeper look into the backstory of the global conflict and confirms early rumors that storyline Battlefield 2042 is a sequel Battlefield 4, although the game will not have a full-fledged single… Specifically, two old acquaintances appeared in the video: Clayton “Pak” Pakowski and Kimble “The Irishman” Graves, who were the protagonists of the fourth part of the shooter.

The latter is also announced as a playable character in Battlefield 2042. He is now one of ten Specialists in multiplayer. A unique specialization and talent for the Irish will be the deployment of cover to protect against bullets and explosions, a defensive system to destroy explosive shells, and armor, which gives additional bonuses for defeated enemies.

The release of Battlefield 2042 will take place 22 of October… Now there is a closed technical testing of the shooter, and in September the developers will conduct an open beta test.
