The first Ninja Gaiden for the Master Collection was based on the PS Vita version, not the PS3.

Did not make it Team Ninja to announce that the basis of the upcoming collection Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection took the Sigma versions of the first two parts as fans found new cause for excitement.
Discerning fans are sure that the remaster of the first part was based not only on Ninja Gaiden Sigma from the PlayStation, but its portable version with the PS Vita – graphically, it looks much simpler than on the PS3. This is openly hinted at in one of the scenes in the reissue’s debut trailer.
Play now Ninja gaiden and Ninja gaiden 2 natively available only on Xbox One and Xbox Series, and thanks to backward compatibility improvements on One X and Series X, action games run in 4K resolution.

Many people call the Master Collection not the most attractive offer – with every news about it, fans are less and less sure that it should have been released at all.

The release is scheduled for June 10 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
