According to Collider, director of the first three “Pirates of the Caribbean” Gore Verbinski adapts for Netflix novella by George Martin Sand Kings…
Verbinski is working on a project with a screenwriter. Dennis Kelly, the author of the original version of the series “Utopia”… In the case of Kings, it seems to be a feature film.
The plot tells about the businessman Simon Kress, who is used to living the way he pleases. Among his strange hobbies was collecting various forms of life, which he collected in the manor’s menagerie.
And so the hero had fun for a long time, until he acquired a colony of strange organisms of hermit kings, who deified the owner and at the same time turned out to be very tenacious.
There is no exact date for the premiere of the project yet.
