Director of “District No. 9” Neil Blomkamp has revealed the exact release date of his next full-length film, which he secretly filmed last summer in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
New work of the director called Demonic performed in the genre of horror and will be released internationally already 20th August… “Demonic” will be Blomkamp’s first full-fledged project since the release of the action movie “Chappy“in 2015.
In the center of the Demonic plot will be a young woman who unleashes terrifying demons as a result of the disclosure of supernatural forces underlying the long-term conflict between mother and daughter. There are no other details about the film yet.
The story for the tape was invented by Blomkamp himself, and the main roles were performed by Carly Pope (“Elysium: Heaven is not on Earth”), Chris Martin (“Age of Adeline”) and Michael Rogers (“Supernatural”).
Earlier, Neil Blomkamp officially announced the development of a direct continuation of Area 9.
