We previously heard that now Quantic Dream will release multi-platform games under its own publisher, and Cage confirmed that they are now working hard on “exciting new projects.”.
“We, of course, remain game developers and are working on a lot of exciting new projects that we can’t talk about yet, but a lot more is happening in the studio now.”
Later on the stream he mentioned that “soon” they will reveal more information about what the studio is currently doing.
For his part, Guillaume shared updated information on the publishing activities of the studio, mentioning that the “highly professional and experienced” team that was involved in the release of the latest studio projects on PC would be responsible for publishing the games. At the same time, in addition to games of its own production, Quantic Dream will also begin to publish third-party projects from “talented and independent studios” in the future. She intends to support them with her experience and, if necessary, provide “artistic and technical resources”. More about this will be discussed later.
Quantic Dream executives also talked about expanding their head office. Now developers have a new motion capture studio, a new recording studio, as well as a large relaxation area. However, while the entire team in connection with the coronavirus pandemic has been transferred to the home mode of operation.
In the end, it was announced the opening of its own online store Quantic Dream with games and branded studio products. There, sales of the collector’s edition of the PC version will soon start Detroit: Become Human with a 27-centimeter figurine of Kara. The contents of the kit will include not only the figure, but the rest of the content remains a secret.
Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, and Heavy Rain will be released on June 18 Steam.
