The debut video appeared on the network The Green Knight from the director Ghost Stories David Lowry.
The picture is a fantastic rethinking of the legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.
In its story, during the New Year’s celebration, the mysterious Green Knight burst into Camelot, offering a strange bet – hit him with an ax, provided that in a year he would strike back. Nephew Arthur Gawain agrees, chopping off the knight’s head, but he suddenly returns it to its place, reminding the hero of his future duty, and leaves.
Further history is devoted to Gawain’s journey to the Green Chapel, as well as various trials that he will have to overcome on the way to his goal, eventually encountering the Green Knight again.
The main role in the new picture performs Dev Patel (“Slumdog Millionaire”), Alicia Wikander (“Lara Croft”), Joel Edgerton (“It Comes at Night”) and others will also play in the tape.
The movie will be released in the cinema this summer, when it appears in our box office – it is not yet clear.
