The authors recalled that the idea of ​​Minecraft Earth involves the free movement of players along the streets and gatherings of players for cooperative play. These principles are difficult to follow in the current global situation. The developers will end support for AR games in June 2023 and will reallocate resources to other projects.

As part of the final update, the following improvements have become available to players:

  • Removed microtransactions;
  • Reduced prices for in-game items;
  • Added all finished unreleased content;
  • The time spent on crafting has been significantly reduced.

Starting from June 30, the game will not be able to download, and on July 1, player data will be deleted (not counting the customization of characters and in-game currency). Anyone who has done microtransactions is promised a free copy Minecraft: Bedrock

Official launch Minecraft earth in the USA took place on November 12, 2019. According to analyst firm Sensor Tower, it was downloaded more than 1.4 million times in its first week.
