The Dark Lands Will Wait: The Shadowlands Expansion for World of Warcraft Launch Postponed

Company Blizzard Entertainment announced the postponement of the launch of a large-scale expansion Shadowlands for World of warcraft at a later date. Initially, the start of the add-on was planned already at 27th October… The developers cannot name a new date yet

Standard working moments are voiced as reasons – Blizzard additional time is needed to polish various aspects of the game, including endgame content. The team faced some challenges working from home and is now trying to hastily bring Shadowlands to a state that will not disappoint the audience.

Together with that Blizzard announced the date of the preliminary patch – it will be released already the 13th of November and will bring with it the foundation for the next expansion, including rebalancing the level system, a number of new customization settings and other content

It is also mentioned that closer to the start Shadowlands a new themed event will be launched, in which users will have to defend the lands of Azeroth from the invasion of the Scourge.
