Square enix released another special video for the future premiere of a remake Final Fantasy VII. This time, the story and the characters of the game have changed, said producer Yoshinori Kitase, screenwriter Kazushige Nojima and directors Motomu Toriyama and Naoki Hamaguchi.
They all worked on the original game and talk about the fact that 23 years after the release, it is perceived in a completely different way. In particular, it turns out to be shorter than remembered by those who passed it then.
In the updated version, the creators left in place all the main components of the plot and all the memorable scenes and turns. But the world became much larger, and side missions and new scenes were added. Heroes known to all fans of the series are now realistic not only externally: their characters have become more complex and multifaceted, and we will learn more about the background of some characters.
The creators note that all the dialogues were rewritten from scratch, and in general the game was made not in accordance with the original, but as it was remembered for all these long years. We will be able to see what happened in the end on April 10, when the first episode of Final Fantasy VII Remake is released.
