In an interview with the publication IGN the developers said that at a certain stage they had to restart the production of World of Demons from scratch, and they decided to cooperate with Apple due to the fact that most of PlatinumGames employees are owners of iOS devices. They are as close to you as possible with the iPhone and iPad.
There are no plans to release the game on Android yet. In this sense, the studio compares the exclusivity of World of Demons for Apple to the console exclusivity of its big games.

World of Demons was created by a team of several dozen people, at the final stages 60 specialists worked on it, including the developers of various console action games PlatinumGames.
World of Demons is just the beginning of PlatinumGames’ presence on mobile platforms. New mobile games are being prepared, not necessarily action games, which we will soon learn about.
The studio was pushed to work with the mobile market, among other things, a partnership with the Tencent corporation, which invested money in it in 2019. The money also goes to PlatinumGames’ own console games (not created in collaboration with Nintendo, Square Enix, or other companies).
Initially, it was agreed that the partnership with Tencent would help PlatinumGames build and expand a portfolio of its own IPs, on the basis of which Tencent could develop and publish mobile games for the closed Chinese market in the future.
At the same time, the studio claims that Tencent is not trying to control it.
“Tencent doesn’t tell us what to do, so our creative philosophy hasn’t changed at all. The truth is that Tencent doesn’t seek to aggressively control its partners, but simply encourages them to cooperate with each other, so our opportunities have increased, and not only in financially “.
PlatinumGames recalled that Tencent partners with both local firms, such as the Japanese Marvelous or Supercell, and international monsters such as Epic Games and Riot Games. And the Chinese are working to establish contacts and cooperation between all.
