Finnish studio Remedy entertainment announced the signing of an agreement with a major publisher to develop two multi-platform projects, which will be released on next-generation PCs and consoles over the next few years.
The document stipulates that the publisher will fully finance the development, and the net sales revenue will be divided into 50 by 50. At the same time, Remedy will retain intellectual property rights..
The first game is an AAA title, which is already in pre-production and has previously been published in publications as the third unannounced studio project. The other game in question will be less ambitious, but both are reportedly tied to the same franchise. Development is underway on the engine Northlight from Remedy.
Further details on the new Remedy partnership will be announced later today.
