According to media reports, the Cinema Foundation has filed a lawsuit against the producers of the fantastic tape “Coma”demanding to pay 65 million rubles.

Thus, the organization is trying to get a returnable 40 million rubles, which were allocated for the tape, as well as the included penalties for late payments – that is, another 25 million rubles. According to producer Ghevond Andreasyan, the firm hopes to conclude an agreement with the Fund, but the latter requires registration through the courts.

This is already the second lawsuit against the producers of the tape – earlier it was filed by co-investors of the picture from “Mars Media”demanding 50 million rubles. That situation was resolved before the trial, since the rights to “Whom” were given to “Mars Media” itself.

In total, the film’s budget is 250 million rubles – at the box office he managed to collect 151 million rubles. Some of the funds were planned to be returned at the expense of foreign rental, but these plans were prevented by the coronavirus pandemic.
