Now the first cycle of 26 episodes lasting about 7 minutes each with the expectation of a children’s audience of 6-8 years has been launched into development, but in the future the company wants to make at least 52 episodes and enter international markets. In particular, China and many other Asian countries showed great interest in the project.
“We are starting with a cycle of the first 26 episodes lasting seven minutes. In the future we want to make at least 52 episodes, because the project that we are starting to create will certainly have international potential. And for international sales, we need 52 episodes “We have great interest from China, from many Asian countries. The core of the audience we are counting on are children of 6-8 years old,” said Slashcheva.
New episodes, “Wait a minute! will be created in quasi-format3Dstylized as a flat image.
“We probably spent four or five months on reaching a decision on this issue. And in the end, we decided that the cartoon would be executed in quasi-3D format, which is stylized as a flat image.”
The series will retain the cult phrase “Well, Hare, wait a minute!”, Genre similarity and a share of conventionality in the image of the characters and the environment, but the visual images of the main characters will undergo significant changes. Also, new secondary characters will be added, the Wolf and the Hare will be dressed differently, their behavior and individual character traits will change.
