The Battlefield brand is now run by the former head of Call of Duty and Destiny – Igromania

EA appointed a new brand leader Battlefield – he became a veteran Activision Byron Beed, who previously led the promotion Destiny (2014-2019) and Call of duty (2009-2014 and 2018-2021).

Bid will have to come up with a strategy for the long-term growth of Battlefield and implement it.

By the end of the year, a new Battlefield will be released, on which a record-breaking team of four studios is working, and a mobile shooter from the Industrial Toys studio will follow in 2023. According to rumors, in a year, EA also intends to release a shareware battle royale in the manner of Call of Duty: Warzone

Not surprisingly, Bid was hired by the publisher to lead the franchise, given his successful experience in a similar position at Activision – the latter successfully manage to sell new Call of Duty annually in the free Warzone battle royale and mobile shooter.
