In an interview PC Gamer developers from the studio Iron gate shared their plans to develop their viking survival simulator Valheim…
Recall that Valheim was released in Early Access Steam only on February 2, but, as noted in the financial report Embracer Group, the circulation of the game has almost reached 3 million copies.
- The Hearth and Home update will focus on aspects of home building and cooking. Players will find more building parts, activities in and around the house, and recipes.
- The Cult of the Wolf update will focus on exploration and combat. Perhaps the players are also waiting for some new funny and different meetings.
- The Ships and the Sea update will make changes to the ship customization system and will try to fill the ocean biome with additional content.
- The Mistlands update will add a completely new biome with new enemies, items, resources and a boss.
The developers have confirmed that each new biome will receive its own boss, however, mini-bosses may appear in the game in the future. In the full version of Valheim, 9 biomes are promised. The release date of the updates is still unknown. Now a team of only five people is busy fixing bugs.
