Studio Niantic announced partnership with Nintendowithin which the authors Pokemon go will develop various mobile games based on the company’s franchises using their AR technologies.
The first such game under the new partnership will receive a series Pikmin… The authors note that the app will include playful actions to stimulate walking and make it more enjoyable.
A mobile AR game based on the Pikmin series will be released later this year. This will be the first project for Tokyo-based studio Niantic, founded in April 2018.
Niantic will share more details in the coming months.
