As part of a question-and-answer session, developers from Asobo Studio said they had rewritten part of the engine architecture Microsoft Flight Simulatorto improve the performance of your PC game.
The update will be released on July 27 along with the release of the game on the Xbox Series. The authors note that the update should also improve the performance of the VR version.
Also, the developers have finally fixed the range of drawing trees. All improvements were made without implementing DirectX 12 support, which is still being worked on.
Recall that Microsoft Flight Simulator will receive crossplay support and the ability to transfer save between different platforms. On Xbox Series, the game will run at 30 FPS (4K on Series X and 1080p on Series S), but with variable frame rate support on the respective displays.
Previously, the authors released a trailer for the update dedicated to the northern countries of Europe.
