Freelance journalist Alana Pierce revealed new information about the development of the shooter Halo infinite, which, after a recent gameplay demo, has become the subject of bitter controversy in the player community.
Pier clarified that the project had far from the simplest story of creation, and the fault of all the criticism that the previous release of the series was subjected to – Halo 5: Guardians.
According to Pearce, according to the original plans, Halo Infinite was supposed to be released much earlier, but negative reviews about Halo 5 turned out to be so massive that at some point 343 Industries actually relaunched the development of Infinite, significantly changing the plot and overall tone of the game.
“It was very important for them that the game really felt like Halo. One of the studio staff said, even if it was not officially announced that Halo Infinite was postponed at some point. According to the original plans, the release was supposed to take place earlier, but they had to rewrite the plot due to the fact that Halo 5 left behind not the most pleasant impressions, which entailed certain adjustments and actual restart of Halo“, explains Pierce.
The journalist notes that all aspirations 343 Industries – the most sincere and are aimed at giving fans of the series the game they deserve.
“The main point they continue to strive for, based on the criticism received, is the creation of a real love letter for the Halo TV series. [Infinite] as a full-fledged spiritual restart “- continues the thought of Alana Pierce.
Release date Halo infinite should take place before the end of this year at Xbox one, Xbox series x and PC.
