The authors of “Gothic-like” Farathan have released several new trailers – Igromania

A small Polish studio of only two people started Kickstarter-campaign your role-playing game Farathan, which he makes in the image and likeness of the cult Gothic… And for a more detailed presentation, the developers have released a number of trailers and videos.

The creators of the game showed the beginning of Farathan, almost five minutes of play. The recording includes both story clips and fragments of the gameplay.

Additionally, the studio has published live footage of the gameplay from the early alpha version. Previously, we have already been shown fragments of battles, but this time they were supplemented with dialogues with NPCs, exploring the world, collecting resources and a visit to ancient ruins.

As the developers explained, they are well aware of the amount of work they are aiming at: Farathan should have 335 missions, 215 unique NPCs, 55 types of enemies and 100 hours to complete.

To save themselves time and energy, Farathan authors purchase a variety of assets, models and animations from independent creators. The developers believe that a thorough study of the story is more important than “our name on every spoon in the game“. As for the plot, initially Farathan was supposed to be a book. But from the fall of 2023, the husband and wife are bringing the idea into the game.

To be successful, the authors need to raise 18 thousand dollars, and this money is mainly intended for professional voice acting. There are already more than 10 thousand on the account, and 20 days remain until the campaign finals. At the end of March, the studio plans to release a demo, and the release should take place on December 22 on PC, and then on the PlayStation 5.
