Japanese studio Idea factory released another trailer for its future role-playing horror Death end re; Quest2. And it is dedicated to Le Choir, a quiet provincial town where the game will unfold.
The trailer is stylized as a postcard that May Toyama sends to her younger sister Sanae, whom she is impatient to meet. But we already know that the sisters are not destined to see: Sanae went missing.
May arrives in Le Choire and settles in the same hostel in which Sanae seems to have lived until her disappearance. However, nobody remembers her there. Moreover: something is wrong with the city. And soon the girl realizes that she will not find her sister until she reveals all the old secrets of these places.
During the day, players have to study Le Chaux-d’Or, get to know the locals and look for signs of their sister’s stay here. And at night, battles with dark creatures await her, in which her partners will help her.
Game Death end re; Quest2 will be released on PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam) in 2023: at first it was about February, but then the creators stopped giving exact dates.
