The Ascent patch adds ray tracing support to the Microsoft Store version

Shortly after release The ascent players drew attention to the lack of parity between the versions of the game for Steam and Microsoft Store (Xbox Game Pass), since the latter was deprived of DLSS and ray tracing support.

Now developers from the studio Neon giant released a patch that, among other things, added support for ray tracing to the Microsoft Store version of cyberpunk action movie.

In addition, the authors improved the performance and loading of NPCs, added a processor performance mode for weaker PCs and a system to bypass situations where save files could be corrupted, and fixed bugs that led to crashes.

Finally, bug fixes have touched on aspects of the game such as co-op, gameplay and saving progress. A complete list of innovations, improvements and fixes can be found here.
