Last spring, lone developer Joe Richardson with studio assistance Superhot released in Steam adventure game The Procession to Calvary, continuation Four last things… The game received very positive reviews, and now the studio Pythonesque is preparing to release its console versions.
The Procession to Calvary will be released on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on July 1 and 2, respectively. In the near future, the game will also appear on the PlayStation 4, but this release date has not yet been announced.
The whole world of The Procession to Calvary is composed of fragments of paintings by masters of the Renaissance. And the way their characters interact and combine is filled with a fair amount of absurd humor. Although the game continues the story of Four Last Things, the plot is quite understandable for those who are not familiar with the first part.
